For those interested, Blackthornes Dragoons is always looking for people who would be a good fit and we will be taking on new recruits from this tournament as well.
Tournament winners will be determined by wins and kills versus deaths. Full details will be available before the launch.
So far the response has been good for the tournament so we will be starting at 6PM EST this Saturday the 20th of October.
Teamspeak Server Address is TS.BLACKTHORNES.COM Password is BT
Drop Configuration will be AAAAHHML
If you have additional questions you can post here or drop into the TS server and speak to me directly, the Password will work from now until the Tournament completes. Please RSVP early, it will be difficult to work true brackets, but we will do the best we can until we have a true means of scheduling drops.

If there are other questions I start to see a lot of, I will post them here as well, so far the response has been much better than expected given the late notice, it should be a fun time.

No Capping
Be Polite
Drop Specs are AAAAHHML
Drop Commanders will Appear as <BT-DC> Name
This tournament is double elimination. Brackets are random without seeds and made to be friendly, you will not intentionally be placed against another company from the same group unless there are no other options. Once sorted, a drop commander will enter the channel and a countdown will be given of 3-2-1-DROP At which time both teams leaders will drop to the battle space. If a good drop is not achieved, complete your matches and return to the room, a new drop will be started until a good drop is achieved. The victor advances against the next team that has also achieved a victory. The Defeated drops to the lower bracket where they will face off against another defeated team. This process will continue until there is only 1 team in the Victors Bracket and One Team in the Defeated Bracket. The Team from the Victors Bracket must be defeated twice to be eliminated and the team from the Defeated Bracket once to be declared the Victor.
Replacement players are allowed from your companies if players must leave for any reason or from free agents. Players are operating on the Honor system at all times.
Good Hunting and Good Luck!

Disconnects that are accidental on drop will be met with the opposing team leaving an equal number of mechs out of play if in the first one minute of play. After that, they will be considered as killed. A screen shot and a declaration by the opposing team of who is sitting out will suffice. That mech is to stay in the base , it may enter play if in the first minute they also suffer a disconnect otherwise it is to suicide or otherwise terminate connection. If it at any time is fired apron or fires on another mech after the first 2 minutes of play, that team will be disqualified.
In the event of an equal tie, both teams will lose
