Last night i had some games with (a few) new players that wanted some help, so i thought it would be a good idea to make a place where you can find some people to team up for the first matches or more.

In general, I'm a pug player and randomly play in some groups and I'm not thaaat bad :(
So if you like, I'll try my best to help you get some nice matches and a Kill or two.

So, how to do that?
-------------------------------
First, choose a Mech - it's always better to have that done before and not let the others wait (but you can change it later).

After that, you have a button "Social" in the bottom right corner which opens the friend list.

To add a friend, press "Add friend" *lol* - you'll need to type the Name "exactly" in the field. Downside of this is, you can only send invites to players who are online (at least in closed beta that was the case). This is really a downside and i would recommend that everyone in this thread write down, when they are usually online.

Ok, you got some friends, what now? Every entry has a symbol, green, yellow, red. Green is online, red offline and yellow *'i think* online but ingame.

How to play together?
First, make contact - double click on the name and the chat window will open. Say "hello" or "lets kill" or "for the lulz", whatever you like.
When you want to play together, you need to create a group and invite people from the friend list. When you get an invitation, the button "invite" will flash.

If you're in a group, the button "launch" will change to "Not ready/ready" and you can see the readiness of every member in the group tab. In that tab, there is also the group chat, just doube click on any name.

When all players are "Ready", the group leader can launch the group and Matchmaking will look for a game. And thats it.

Ok, enough theory, let's start.
-------------------------------
Name: 627
Timezone/Country: CET/Germany (CET is PST+8)
Time I usually play: 20:00-23:00 CET (PST: 12:00pm-3:00pm; is that right?)
Language: english, german
Preferred Mechs: Catapults (all of them) and Raven
About me:
Like I said, I'm not too bad, I won't write down my stats because that's not teling you the truth, this is all about teamplay and helping, doesn't matter who gets the kill.

This is just a draft, how this could look like. Feedback is welcome.

Ok, enough text, let me know what you think and maybe we'll have some fun together. And I hope some of our closed beta veterans will follow me and offer some help to new players. At least in Eve online, this works, so why not here? :D

Nice Idea...

Are you using teamspeak? Or just chat?

And to group with more veterans, get on the unofficial TS3 server: http://mwomercs.com/...mspeak-servers/.

No I don't use teamspeak (for MWO), yet.

I thought it would be an offer for all those not willing or able to use teamspeak or voice.

What's better team speak or c3 for mwo? I thought c3 is better cause it integrated.
I'm mainly looking to be recruited into a clan.
