When can we expect optimized AMD / ATI CrossFire Support?

I noticed on the latest announcement for Known Issues http://mwomercs.com/...n-known-issues/

it was mentioned SLI are being addressed, but what about the CrossFire support?

Crossfire is working and has been working for about two patches now.

There's a difference between "working" and "optimized support" ;)

have you ever seen another CryEngine game, that can't push more than 24 FPS with SLI or Crossfire in Medium graphic settings?

They have FPS capped at 60 for some reason. My crossfire keeps it pegged at 60 most of the time. minues the night view.

Turn off vsync and it will go higher. But if you have a 60Hz display, vsync provides the cleanest image provided you can keepit at 60fps.

What's your system config? Do you use the crysis2.exe profile and modified user.cfg?

ideally I'd like to play the game in VERY HIGH, or HIGH rather than MEDIUM graphic settings

but anything more than medium and the FPS are barely getting 24 fps

vsync is not selected, i never use vsync

and two HD7970 at 1000 Mhz (stock) in crossfire should be more than enough for any high demanding game

That is terrifying.

I assume the consensus is that "I'm only getting 24 fps!" (on my six monitors) was a good-spirited semi-troll?

There is something wrong there for sure.

I run crossfired 6950's and an i7 sandybridge and I get 40-60FPS at really high res (2560x1200 I think.) Oh and thats on everything max settings execpt the post processing I have on high I think.
