Refitting a 'mech manually every time you'd like to change it's configuration is currently frustrating. While the idea might be to encourage players to buy more chassis, the problem is I often want multiples for a specific variant, which I won't be buying in addition to those I need for the XP grind.

Thus my suggestion: Add variant slots to a 'mech, where you can save/load a configuration to quickly re-mount it if you have the available parts to do so in stock. Perhaps give one of these slots for free, then charge 100-200MC for each additional slot? By giving a 'mech 4 or 5 maximum variant swaps, you'd make it far more convenient, and it's one I'm willing to pay for.

Considering an extra mechbay is 300 MC, an extra variant- variant slot should only cost 50 MC the most. I like this idea, one for free is not bad compromise. I'll say right now tho, 100 - 200 range is too damn high.

If it's cheap, I'd pay for it too. Saving builds would be a great band-aid for the insanity of setting armor values-I have one build with no armor that I'd like to take less then 5 minutes transitioning to.
