[GUIDE] How to Zombie founder ATLAS (expensive) C-Bills grind

Hello all, today i'm posting my own version of zombie guide :( we all love them for the :

BRAAAIINNNSSS crawing part

But most are cicade or yen lo wang and pack very little damage all counted, so why not turn your founder atlas into one while you're at it :(

Now that's not the usual zombie build in the sense you're not suposed to loose all but center still it's a no repair build .

Let's see what it does.

-High damages (atlas oviously)
-Resilient as hell (yeah same here)
-No repair cost (exept structure if you want 1-5k match max)
-Good sustain.
-Zombie whithout being in any case a burden to your team.

Cons:

-Slow (like... realy slow)
-High initial costs unless your founder or elite founder in that case it's almost free.
-Red line mech on some maps.
-No brawler.


For what to put into it.... well i use a LRM/Gaus suport build but you can run it whith what you like from a 2x SRM 6 / 2x AC5 / 4 ML brawler to 2x LRM 20 / 4x MPL low heat lrm boat.

Here what mine loock like so you get an idea:

Engine :regular 260 (free from the founder cat)
2x LRM20 (7 tons ammo)
1x Gaus (3 tons ammo)
2x MPL (in the arms) or center torso if you wana go pure zonbie.
1x AMS (1 ton ammo)
Armor need a bit of tunning (reduce legs a bit) and upgrade it to fero fibrous if you can spare the c-bills.
2x heat sinks (in center torso)
Ammo in the legs and arms,gaus ammo whith the gauss.

You can add more heat sinks if you preffer but asside from caustic you can chain fire all but MPL if you have basic or better talent tree.

That setup let you do your role as a LRM boat perfectly and those 2 MPL and Gaus let you even defend a bit in close range thou it'll realy shine from range whith a tag or narc spoter.

Now the nice part why zombie ? cause you never repair anything exept structure (maybe) :( Ammo you have all you need whith the free 75%
Armor ? you have all you need whith free repair (ferro- fibrous compensate largely for the few % you loose)
So whith that all set the whole you are going to loose is 1-5k match if you wana repair structure for a perfectly working mech that going to dish out high damage and has the extra c-bill bonnus.

It can be done whith any other atlas version but founder better for it due to the extra money.

Those are only fast ones from game i did in a rush to provide screenshots not the best (usualy do that as an awerage) can be worse but can do a lot better too.

And as a last note you can do that whith almost any mech,curently repairs and rearm are rather optional all considered.

As far as I know, ferro-fibrous does not give you more total armor. It makes you armor weight less. You get more points of armor per ton, but the maximum armor you can have is the same. You can check this in the mechlab.

Well i can't say for sure but i had the space to put it in so i did considering i don't need to repair it :)

Better a bit more resilience then nothing for sure it gave the feeling to be more resistant whith .... coud be me imagining things.

I use the free ammo thing with my streak Cat. Repairs never really break 15k on a good match. I get 600 or so Streak rounds for free to boot which is roughly 75% of the 800 its normally loaded with. Normally I'd pay about 70-100k in missiles. Not anymore lol.
