Hi Folks.

Would it be possible to kill an enemy with a "headjump"? I hope so ...
Thats what i did sometimes in the table-top as a last resort to kill enemy scouts.

Jumping with my Hatchetman on the head of a light mech... it was something like:
"lasers gone ...
ammo gone ...
hatchet ... gone,
BUT i still have jumpjets and i WILL get the scout-sucker" :P :)

Pretty sure that one of the revealed pilot skills you can get was one that reduced damage taken when doing DFA

i dare you to try and dfa my atlas, i will punch you right in the balls when you try it (atlas has fists the size of jenners for a reason!)

i would also like to use my atlas hands to grab smaller weaker mechs, hold them up off the ground, and place their face in front of my ac 20. saves ammo that way right.

i dont think anyone should object, as it would be a hilarious way to die, get caught by an atlas, picked up, face planted in front of the ac 20, BOOOOOOOM game over man GAME OVER!

Step 1: grab Jenner
Step 2: place Jenner cockpit under Atlas foot
Step 3: ...

Hilarious. Will never happen - its a programming nightmare at best. But we can still dream.

But the DFA should be easier to do ...
@LordDeathStrike: You'll never place my Mech in front of your AC20 ... but i _will_ land on your Atlas. :) :P

No way of knowing how easy or hard it is to do till we can try it out.

Its biggest problem will probarbly be if you try DFA from behind, overshoot, and line yourself up for an alpha strike to your rear.

I know! We need fatalities!

If an enemy mech is below a certain condition you can get near it, do a combo and see a scripted scene of you punching through its cockpit, hammering it into the ground or slamming it into a wall.

It will be awesome! Fatalities have always been part of BTU, just like pro wrestling grappling moves. I can't wait to faceplant Jenners in Grasshopper.

Step 1: Take Jenner
Step 2: Engage jumpjets
Step 3: Place Jenner sideways below you, with it's head under one of your legs
Step 4: Use gravity for descent

I really hope there are places you can use the enviroment alone for DFA.

Cliffs: where the world(Atlas) comes crashing down upon you.

Hopefully they do something good with DFA for MW:O. DFA in previous MechWarrior games have been... lackluster at best.

dfa in the table top is only good if you hit the cockpit, i have had lots and lots just hit arms or torso doing almost nothing. but sometimes it ends the mech instantly. so its not always great.

I love that pic! Gave me a good chuckle

On topic, DFA would be really awesome to pull off in an urban map, especially with the light mechs. I can hear it now... "Its raining mechs! Hallelujah..."
