Greetings!

If you are a user of Windows 8, you may experience issues during the installation process, such as the following message:
"The program can’t start because XINPUT1_3.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

This issue stems from DirectX 9.0 (DX9) being required to run the game while the dev team continues to smooth out issues on DX11, and DX11 coming pre-installed on all Windows 8 PCs.

Steps to Resolve
1) Please click here to download the DirectX 9.0c Redistributable installer
2) Install DX9.
3) Install MWO.
4) Enjoy MechWarrior Online.
