Do those items stack? And when yes then how they stack?

It seems like they do, but I can't get the enemy to stop shooting me and my friends so we can determine actual sensor ranges with all the different loadouts.

Hard to test when you're getting shot at, and I only played a bit last night, but it seemed to push sensor range to around 1100m. That sound right?

it's my understanding that they are stacking additively now. accounting for readouts not taking height differences into account for your rangefinder number, you should be somewhere in the vicinity of 1000m straight line range.

not bothering to reaffirm base radar range number, but if 700m base, then both should get you to 980m. if it was 750m base then 1050.

my gut twitch says the 700m figure scaling to 980m is the right one.

I can lock consistently with both around 1150, which seems to imply they do not stack as I would expect to be able to lock a fair bit further.

Will toy around with it some more this evening though, only managed a few matches last night.

I noticed that my sensor range increased once I put Sensor module on top of a BAP in my Jenner.
They definitely stack from my observations.

Yes, devs should definitely say how Sensors Range module and BAP works (let's suppose that default range is 700m):

Case1: newRange=700*1.25*1.15=1006.25m
or
Case2: newRange=700+700*0.25+700*0.15=700+175+105=980m

Targets seem to be picked up ~1080m with BAP and pilot module. I've not picked up anything further so far.

This means that they stack and the calculation of +15% +25% must be on a base of 750m.

(750m + 15%) + 25% = 1078.125m

I have picked up targets at about 1100 meters with both, so they do stack. I have no idea about the base number they are calculated upon. My guess would be close to the numbers of D34K, or even slightly above that.

It's a shame we even have to wonder.

Props to all who bother to investigate. I guess I'll run both. The sensor range module's only $2 mil anyway.

Farthest target locked so far (BAP+SR Module): ~1120 meters. Keep testing.

I sure hope they stack.

Going to give it a shot tonight.

According to the ECM post in command chair the default sensor range is 800m.

Base Sensor Range = 800m
Sensor Module (+15%) = 920m
BAP (+25%) = 1000m
Both (+35%)= 1120m
Enemy with ECM = 200m derp.

I confirm this is true. I have both BAP and sensor module and I can lock and spot mechs out to 1200m.
