I get a little annoyed trying to see what type of mechs are on my team. It would be nice to hit tab and see the types of mech's on the team to know what type of play would be good for the team.

Sorry if this has been suggested before, but i looked through several pages and didn't see anything.

Just let us target friendly mechs as older games did (I believe, could be mixing them up with Starsiege). Friendly locks would be instant, naturally. No major changes needed to be made, just a different button for locking onto friendlies you have your reticule pointed over.

Already partially implemented.

Press Q. All Mechs on the field, including friendlies, will have their names and Mech variant names, as well as the targeting letter (if enemy), show up.

I'm not aware of being able to see loadouts though. But variants you can already easily see.

It's rather useful for Jenner scout/commander pilots.

When you are in-game, press the button on your keyboard that looks like this: "Q"

I'm pretty sure it will help you get the information you seek.

No, what we need is detailed loadout information on your team.

All 'Q' does is reveal the basic chassis the player is using.

We all know that most players deviate a great deal from the stock loadouts for most chassis types.

An extra column on the score board for both teams would be nice, one showing your team mates chasis ID and the other showing the enemy chasis. The enemy column would start blank and the information would be filled in as each target was ID'd.

Thanks Hayashi the Q key was a big help sorry I just missed that one ;( The loadout is important as well though as what voidsinger said loadouts per mech type differ greatly. I also like Boris's idea about the enemy chasis detail getting filled in after targeting.
