- I see it written that "Premium" patterns will ocst MC, but other "Basic" ones will be available for CB, but in the example, everything is costing MC - is this just because the system isn't finished yet, or are you only showing us "Premium" content?
- I see that colors are broken down by "Premium" and "Basic" - are patterns broken down the same way, or are all patterns MC-only?
- From looking at the example, it looks like changing to a new pattern costs MC, but changing back to the Default scheme costs nothing. Is this intended, or is it the result of changes not being saved in mechlab between screen captures?
- Are you really intending to charge MC for every change? I notice that some of the prices are pretty high - the Franken costs more than two new mechbays. Do we really need to re-purchase those patterns any time we want to change, or are they going to be "unlocked" for the variant, with just the re-paint costs covered by CB (assuming "Basic" colors are used)? It strikes me that playing with the color palettes could get prohibitively expensive very quickly.

From reading Bryan's write-up on the upcoming camo customization in mechlab, I'm left with a few questions:

Confused by this as well.
Doesn't look good in the general "How to do things in F2P games rulebook". Things you pay for with $$$ are either permanent or have multiple stacks of use if its normally a "use once" item (as it would be for the paint job).
As a similar example (although not for an F2P game) a rare item from WoW TCG:

Edit: It does say camo spec "Phase 1" so it leaves room for some hope that adaptions may be made in the future.
