Data Files Corrupt message appears during installation

Steps to Reproduce
1. Boot the Patcher.
2. Observe error messaging during patching.

Notes
Message reads: "data files corrupt, do you want to retry?"

Workarounds
  • Uninstall the game
  • Delete all empty/remaining game folders.
  • Run CCleaner or another registry cleaning tool.
  • Ensure there is sufficient space to extract and install the game on your disk.
  • Re-download installer.
  • Run installer.

I got this issue when I went to patch, I got around it by disabling the firewall on my Eset Smart Secuirity Suite anti virus.
Had this when I first tried to play in the closed beta as well.

In my case it was the AV interfering, and I am pretty sure it was the firewall portion of the anti virus.
