Even when I run a non-ECM Atlas I'm winning more. Why? I don't have 4 or 5 LRM boats training everything on THE ATLAS and wiping me out before I can even engage with my heavy weapons.

you couldn't find a rock to walk behind? even going 48 (+speed tweak) it's really not that hard

Inflamentory statment followed by absolutly no reasoning, at all.

The D-DC is one of the worst mechs to work with. No "facemelter" at all. "Jack of all trades" equals not good at anything in MWO.

And to quote yourself (your other thread about the exact same thing): "8V8 Has 2 Wight Classes light and ddc.... this not a complaint or troll post. just an advisory"

If by your own reasoning you remove the D-DC ECM you will make 8vs8 light only.

Sensing mega Troll. Starting more then one thread about the same thing...

I understand why mechs that could be used as scouts have gotten ecm, but I would really like to hear the reasoning for giving it to the D-DC.

Because Atlases don't like being shot with missiles just like all the other mechs.

Oh, I find rocks. Not that they help against Artemis, and if I find a spot that will shield me, I just end up pinned there. I generally just accept that I'm going to lose half my armor or more by the time I get into the brawl. Until now.

right, because rocks are always around when you need them.

for the most part they are
except on caustic, and only if you get sloppy and forget to pay attention, there's plenty of cover in every single map that you shouldn't be getting torn apart by lrm's

ecm on the ddc is fine.

ive seen tons of close range ddcs get melted by massed direct fire.

all that ecm did is make lrms alot less viable. still can be used and once they up the tag range to 750 like theyve anounced it will make lrms more viable.
