I still have my activate premium button and I'll press it once I'll evaluate that this action will be worth.. you did it, all you can do is play to earn some more cbills to save them later on.

i didn't knew that ECM LAGFEST was comming.
ECM made my playing an ECM LAGFEST. As soon as two ECM are
in range i have lag fest thanks to ECM...
As long as i stay out of ECM ( Friendly or Enemy) my Playing experience is fine.
When i come into ECM range it is horrible...
How would that be predictable..

It's predictable as this is a f2p game. They constantly change, especially when they haven't hit their "release" date yet. For that matter, most online games change over time. Especially when a game company has the "beta" tag applied.

Netload with one single item behound unplayable...
On the Other side maybe yes... but it is totally frustating, because i could brawl before ECM introduction and still can untill Enemy ECM comes into play then i could powerdown my mech and do something else...
because it would nearly have the same effect. One time i pressed the Mousebuttons for Both firegroups and i had to wait around 1 second that the lasers fired... when i am out of ECM i have the normal 130ms delay in firing...
And THATS is totally unpredictable that a company would do something such stupid with their netcode even in Beta.

With this game's open beta nature, it's to be expected that at times changes will make the game unplayable, and this is counterproductive to the value of the premium time that was purchased.
I can't think of a way that can fairly compensate you in what the bonus provides (XP and CB) that would not be abused by other players.
I told myself 'Don't turn it on until the game is in a more solid state', but even when I DO decide, another patch can make everything go south in a moment. It's a Catch 22 situation, that's for sure.

Ecm won't be removed in the next days.
And as long as PGI totally rewrite the ECM Code or the NEtcode how it has influence on the Mechs i can't simply play.
And that won't happen till the next Year.

What I guess you couldn't take from what I was trying to say is that in a stage of "beta" anything can happen, and does happen. Even when it's not a "beta" a game can change drastically( ie: Star Wars Galaxies). So yes, it is predictable that anything can happen. I understand where you're coming from but disagree. If you do not want to risk losing anything then wait for a game to be "released".

I had a wonderful e-mail just two days ago from Neema. He's finished a bunch of major netcode improvements. They're going into test over the Xmas break, so provided they are in good shape, we'll see them in the game mid to late January (worst case). Unfortunately, this only addresses part of the issues with non-NA players. PGI/IGP are committed to offering regional servers, although timing is not finalized yet.
Hang tight, and we really appreciate your feedback.

EU players prefered Missle Builds.
Not this EU player.
I've played almost nothing but Commandos. I have no issues piloting light 'mechs.
Lately I've started playing Centurions as well, using Autocannons and SRMs. Again, no issues.
I've piloted missile boats roughly three times, when I took my founder Cat out for a spin. I hated it. It was slow and boring

That's a great thing, even if it solves only part of the non-NA players' issues.

I can sympathize with OP though, I mean with all the unbalanced changes makes me want to have things paused again. That said, I am enjoying the ECM.

I will be gone for a few days, so I'm going to pause my rent for a few days. K thanx.
Dear Cable Company,
I didn't watch any TV or use the Internet yesterday. I need you to pause my billing until I use your services again. Thanks!
Dear Government,
I am Unsatisfied with your administration of my tax monies. I will start paying my taxes again when you increase my level of undeserved entitlement and rampant ignorance of business and the real world.
Sincerely,
Big Baby

And whose fault was that?
No to "pause" buttons. We were informed, very clearly, how the system worked. You were impatient, and now face the consequences of that impatience.

Can you describe the abuse?
So, I define pausing premium time as a good thing, which is not abuse, by definition.
yea, i too would like a button that lets me stop my premium time when i'm not playing!
finished for the night? Pause! No more premium time counting down!
going to be gone for a couple of days? Pause! No more premium time counting down!
sounds like a good scam you've come up with to extend premium time! Too bad it was so blatantly obvious that you'll never ever see it.
