This evening I had a match on Forest Colony Snow where my map did not display, instead showing a rainbow of colors and a vertical "img:" text through it (screenshots below). The grid was still present, but in a strange size/font. It persisted despite toggling "escape", power on and off, toggling HUD, etc. It showed up as well in enlarged map view. Throughout the match, my framerate was about half the usual (~25fps compared to a typical 48+).
