The Stalker Screenshots Look...uhhh...

I was expecting it to look a lot more like the artwork from the first post in the "Battlemech 12: Stalker" thread.
Anybody else think the upper torso relative to the lower torse just looks completely out of place?

the timber wolf resembles the front of a bomber even more than the catapult and the new stalker

I think I was just hoping for a little more solid look to the neck area, like how the Catapult upper and lower torso connect. The one on the Stalker looks too small. If you look at the page that list all the Assault Mechs, the Stalker's neck in the in-game screenshot isn't even completely connected to the mech....it'sd just sort of half floating. lol

See what I mean?:
That looks solid! It needs to be more "squatty" like in the picture and less bird-like. It's an Assault Mech afterall.

Check the front page. It should say, "December Battlemech. Stalker. Coming December 18th. With a "Learn More tab underneath it.
Also, check the pic of the Stalker at this link:

That pic in the link just looks silly. lol The upper torso isn't even fully connected to the lower torso.

I'm less disappointed in the Stalker than how the cataphract turned out, though. The cataphract had awesome concept art but ended up looking rather dorky in game because of the small undersized legs that cause it to waddle around the battlefield (it ended up looking similar to how it does in the old tech readouts, but I thought the art designers were trying to get away from that style in this game).

This is especially noticeable when looking at this picture http://mwomercs.com/...assault/stalker
See what I mean? Huge legs, Huge upper torso, tiny swivel joint joining the two together. It looks like my atlas could break the thing in half with a single well placed kick.
The original concept art posted earlier in this thread is much better than the current version - in my humble opinion. Note the concept makes the point where the torso and legs meet look like a much more stable and sturdy platform. That feels more fitting for an assault mech.

Now, I think I'm gonna pass.
Zenstrata, that's pretty much one of my key points. It looks wierd and out of place. Where the upper and lower torsos meet is just too bird like. It doesn't look like an Assault Mech, it really just looks like a wierdly shaped bigger Raven.
Devs, if you read this, please just keep it like the concept art. That looked perfect.

Now it looks like a Bird-Stalker.
Gahhh...I'm so disappointed. When I first saw the Stalker art my inital reaction was, "YES!!!!! *Starts guessing how much MC I would need to buy to get all the variations**". Now I'm not even sure I will pick one up with in-game free credits. This was going to be my ride of choice, and even though I won't see the exterior in-game, I still can't bring myself to drive something that looks so....well, odd. Maybe a little silly but that's just how I am.
Maybe the Devs will consider modifying it before release.

Only the IMP beats it with its visuals.
