1) upper torso - too high, should be much lower
2) nose - too small compared to conceptart it should be bigger, massive
whole mech look like catapult.
UGLY.
Yeah, Stalker is super ugly...has been ever since it hit the battlefield. If it looked more correct to original art, it would be even uglier- it always kinda looked like a blimp with legs. Now it has more pronounced arm/side torsos and looks a little bit like a big Catapult...which is perfectly ironic considering they can be fitted much the same way.
It doesn't matter if you think you wont buy it cuz it's ugly...you'll wanna buy one after you get tired of being curbstomped by them...Stalkers are ugly in more ways than just looks.

But as a Stalker pilot, I'm happy it won't be such a huge target.
And come on, PGI won me with that small cockpit (I was afraid if could be too much vulnerable as the Catapult's).
Now lets just wait for the torsos hit boxes... this mech is a monster (6x energy + 4x missile) and I'm afraid it will have some cons for balance...

Oh, I will drive it, but I still would love a more "brutish" snout. The tiny cockpit is a plus though. Just wish the feet weren't equally tiny.

Yeah, that's just a modeling bug tho, they'l fix that.
As far as everything else, the Stalker was always a notorious "ugly duckling" mech, so kinda funny to see a "OMG it's so ugly!" thread for it already.

"Ugly" and incorrect are too different things. People are actually commenting on how the model looks bad, not the Stalker itself as a battlemech.

Yeah the original is a bullet glued to a box on legs.
This is a big catapult

Arms not level with the top torso. they look too tall.
The torso for the in-game model is longer on the Y axis. Like it's getting stretched vertically and they added some sorta step that the torso sits on before it touches the hips, and the bottom of the center torso where it comes up form the hip to the nose is far steeper angle.
The concept is shorter and stalkier, and the main torso is closer to the hips. The center torso in the concept starts off more like a curve and eventually makes it's way up to the nose. I think this is the part that is making people tihnk the nose is bigger, where it's just the way they modeled differently how fast the nose comes to a point. It's more blunted in the concept. I like that better.

Yeah, I know...but the original wasn't any prettier, so I don't comprende the griping. If anything, it looks taller...which was probably a game play balance decision- so that it is distinctively bigger than a Catapult.
