Today is a holiday in Canada (Victoria Day) so I expect the Devs and their crew will be mostly taking the day off.

Of course, being a forum, they can easily post from home, but I am trying to be realistic and not expect anything today. If they do, then I'll be pleasantly surprised :)

Riots in Montreal over tuition...NATO summit in Chicago with war veterans returning medals to their Generals and civil unrest....we need some Mechwarrior news to make it a nice full weekend and an energetic start to the week and future change. :)

Americans can have Washington's birthday(President's Day) and Lincoln's birthday, and Columbus Day, and MLK Day, but Canada having a day for the queen of Canada is one holiday too many? :)

Queen Victoria. The Queen of England, and most other commonwealth countries (Her position as Queen of Canada is a separate legal person than the queen of england). About the only thing she really does is appear on our coinage and occasionally visits. She is obviously not a political leader, she is a figurehead.

Victoria Day is more important to most Canadians as the first three-day-weekend after everything thaws out, and is colloquially knows as May two-four, and is a notable camping/partying/spend time in the sun holiday :)

edit: I'm an *****

I don't get off of work or school for any of those holidays...except MLK Day for some strange reason. Usually end up throwing an awesome MLK party.

Same as with Australia. It still has that English province stamp on it, but only as a fancy looking stamp.

She has no power in England (mostly), let alone in places on the other side of the globe. :)

I've always preferred this video , by the great Tom Brokaw, when describing Canada.

And just so I stay on Topic....... yeah I hope we get a tidbit of info, but enjoy your holiday neighbors.

Cheers.
