right now the general concensus is that narc is not worth the tonnage.
first players who use narc should not only get an assist but they should also get part of the xp and credits generated by any missiles that make use of the narc.
second i think narc should allow missiles in the air to retain lock even if the pilot loses lock, give them fire and forget functionality when locked onto a narced target. you still have to get the lock initially but after the missile is in the air you don't have to worry about the target anymore. even if sight is completely lost the missiles will still follow. (players can still hide behind buildings, hills,... large enemy mechs to stop the missiles.)
