You know...
Timed match.
2 teams.
1 base.
One team defends, the other attacks.
If the attackers kill all defenders (or cap the red square, I guess), they win that round.
If the defenders hold the fort until the timer hits 0 or kill all attackers, they win that round.
Then they switch roles.
If the new attackers can cap or kill everything faster than the first team, they win. If the defenders hold out until the timer runs down, it comes down to a points system which covers both rounds.
The timer for the second round is either the full match time, or the time it took for the first attackers to win.
There's a possibility that what I've described is going to be "Dropship Mode", but the reality that came after the sweet, sweet words about Conquest has me less than enthusiastic.
Better yet, take a page from the book of Unreal Tournament 99' and add some objectives in the middle.
