if i am playing a light mech i have probably not done anything meaningful in the match if i do not have the majority of my components in the orange or red. and for some of my mechs all i need to know is that my right arm was destroyed, i do not need a list of every weapon in that arm.

so i think it would be a good idea to allow us to toggle specific betty warnings on and off. this should all be done in the mech lab on a per mech basis.

have seperate sections for weapons, mech sections, support components, and ammo.

this way you can include some more in depth warnings. like for lrm mechs they could turn on warnings for 50% and 75% ammo remaining so that they can more input on how quickly they are using up ammo.

for light mechs a leg armor destroyed warning, and turn off the rest because like i said before, i am going to get mangled in my light mech the only part that actually concerns me is my legs.

i would pay much more attention to betty if she ONLY spoke when things were getting really bad.

Why not. Wouldn't take much effert or time. Also, would be liked by many.

I want to see the "Critical Damage" warning come up only once and go away after a few seconds. The red lights flashing in the Cockpit can stay.

it could include some settings that only allow a warning a certain number of times within a time period.

betty hasn't gotten very many complaints on these forums, but i think this would solve the few that have popped up.

There are far too many "Warning: x-event" phrases that insist on spamming my audio while in a mech battle. Some I find useful, others like "warning: targeted" are just SPAM as it can play repeatedly and cancle out warnings about critical damage or loosing a component.

Give us an easy fix please!
1) Add under Options "Warning Audio"
2) Allow checkbox on/off of which warnings can be played or will be automatically skipped.
3) Enjoy getting only the warnings that each pilot finds most useful to their mech loadout.

Been seeing a few topics about BB talking too much about being targeted. Being able to disable or limit it would make them happyer.

some of the targeted warnings seem to be bugged. i tend to get them when i acquire a target. this has happened several times when no one was looking at me so i am fairly certain it wasn't because i was actually locked onto.
