Gauss is still perfectly viable as a weapon, even on a gausscat. Just run with a small standard engine, and the explosions aren't a big deal, even IF they actually blow your sides anyway. Even better use a Cataphract 4x and do Gausscat in the arms. Works fine. Streak cats? Yeah, without a buddy doing counter ECM, they're pretty much dead. But you should try the 6xPPC stalker build. It's ******* amazing. Nothing says GOOD MORNING to mech like melting it's entire CT in one 60 damage strike.

The video was made days after ECM came out and it was the "BIG CHEESE" and was everywhere. It was a happy time for those of us who hated LRM spam, but those days are over when the Stalker came out and became the next "BIG CHEESE".

What a load of bull, you are the biggest cry baby of the bunch. We use lrms still, and we get good results. It's not the rest of our faults that you cannot cope. Do not lie, not every pug match has ecm and people still use Gauss cannons well. If you cannot adapt, that is your fault.

The majority of my mechs that I own do not use ecm. Aww, do not like shooting? Ahhh, diddums. Just because missile rain requires tactics to get the most from them does not mean they are extinct. Ha ha ha, its funny to hear you crib. Wye aye this game is ####, he he he.

What is so wrong with people using mechs that they wish? If you pug then there are no tactics because you CANNOT communicate effectively. What is your issue? Oh, yeah no comms. If you run a group of 4 you can run alternative builds. Did the team support the atlas? Nope. Nobody but you helped.

Gauss is more situation dependent, because it is now balanced by be fragile. Have you not seen the Stalkers running TAG and major amounts of missiles? No, well look harder.

Oh, and the Tiger analogy, irwould have broken down or been shot out by air power.

I had to mute the vid, and then I saw him first time ecounter an enemy he went point blank 40m with two large lasers on board... real fool, lol... get this guy outta my face.

Still see the same amount of gauss, definately see more LRM with the stalker - everyone dropped the DDC to go play with FOTM, decreasing the ECM coverage a great deal. Rarely see more than 2 ECM mechs when solo-dropping anymore myself.

I saw ecm remove most mechs from games and then along came the big ham and egg stalker and now ecm is 1 maybe 2a game i still run my lrm boat and my gausscat both with success. As for brawlers ruining the game what bs its just another playstyle. The beauty of this game is the fact that we can do anything to our mechs and fight in our own style.

P***** me off listening to this carebear rubbish about mwo being ruined because its team work based and everyone wants it to be cod. Its about warfar and you need to adapt to win so adapt and fight harder.

yeah most of the ppl play this as a game. try to impersonate the mech pilot and play it like you are there..it will be a different game.
