That happened to me once where i was on the 4 side. I was on alt acct and it was my second match. I was in a trial mech. Hate to see what would have happened if I was a casual just starting out....
the other team did grant us duels tho so that was kinda cool (we still lost )

just came out of a game just like this, but i was 1 of 4 players - not much fun running and gunning in a medium vs 5 assault mechs plus their support

I've also seen an 8 vs 5 before, but didn't have a means to get a screenshot at the time. Seriously, matches like this should either not start, or move/boot players till it's even.

Oh also once in CB we had a team of 8 vs 0 players. we had to go cap to end the match lol

A good perspective.
i know it goes against what many of you think, but dang it, i don't see a problem with drops like this. Sure it's lopsided. So is Any drop v The Wilson Hussars(great luck) or the Black Widow Company(terrible luck). The fiction is full of Crashing dropships, Misfiring Jumpships, malfunctioning Drop pods messing with the odds. The match you screenshot, perfect example of what can go wrong in combat. Sure it sucks, BUT what if your opponents turned the tides and beat the greater odds? Dude i want that glory. It offsets the suck!
