The Iron Wraiths are an undercover elite band of corsairs funded in
secret by some of the most influential citizens, politicians, scientists
and heads of industry in the free world's league; who specialize on
the detection and retrieval of caches of 'lostech', to keep them from falling
into hands of Comstar actives so that the technology can be used for the benefit
of mankind and research in the private sector.
The Wraiths believe in the pursuit of knowledge for it's own sake and
oppose the views of any faction that might use a technology for the sole purpose of
weaponizing it, or any who would try to hide or destroy it to keep the status quo,
or out of religious superstition.
even though the iron wraiths have ties to the FWL, they have no particular allegiance
to royal house marik, as they feel blind loyalty is the very thing that led to the
loss of so much in centuries past as well as given comstar a lot of power.
conceived as a unit that would hit hard and vanish like ghosts after
a mission earned them the name of the iron wraiths.
the unit colors are based on camouflage colors like cammo green or desert for this purpose of
vanishing but also purple to help identify with FWL units.
the unit logo is similar to the house marik logo and features a purple crow
but the hue is more violet than magenta and the design is reminiscent of a mediterranean
crest from the time of the renaissance
as sponsored by the league, it's common for our forces to be piloting
league mechs like the awesome.
Do i have to be Marik to join?
No. the only requirement is to hate comstar, or the will to contribute to human understanding!
we employ a number of trusted mercenaries from other factions who aid us in our struggle.
Can i join this merc corp as well as some other one?
Yes. you can form a part of this corp and come and go as you please, it's not mutually exclusive with other corps or factions unless you're comstar or a pony lover
What are the Unit Colors?
any camouflage color with purple. green with purple is the basic but can swap green with desert colors or shades of grey (single color camouflage is also ok)
OR marik colors -> all purple / blue+purple / blue+purple+red. (note: purple must be the first or second color always)
What are we lookin for in the battlefield?
this is fun oriented so not looking to field 8 ecm ravens to see how much
we can break the gameplay but we will hopefully work on our tactics (basic watch your back sort of thing) so that we can play in events like the trial by fire tournament just for fun.
also, FWL mechs are encouraged (awesome, cicada and soon orion)
so we can try infamous strategies such as the 8 awesome drop
the ecm cicada ac and also the 4 ppc cicada
Can i keep the lostech?
No. the lostech is inspected and reverse engineered by our own techs and scientists,
recorded then handed to the FWL. if it wasn't for that we could not operate.
you can keep any salvage as well as whatever cbills you make
Who else are we fighting?
mercenaries, also pirates but most importantly pony lovers who disgrace our proud purple
and give us a bad name!!!!!

then contact me via PM or in game or leave a signature here (you can also find me at the free world's league forums) - this is quite new for now so there's not a whole lot of members yet but hopefully we can get a bunch of players quite soon and a message board up in the near future>
