I tried Alt-Tab, Esc, restart client... and it didn't make the problem go away.
Any workaround?

Though only thing that has changed in my system is updating to Catalyst 13.1. I'll restore back to 12.10 later to see if this fixes the issue.
What I have tried, to no avail:
-Deleted the shader cache.
-Windowed mode.
-Lower resoltuion.
-Alt-tab and Alt-Enter whilst in-game.
EDIT:
Seems rolling back to 12.10 did sweet F all. I've no idea why its just suddenly started to do this. But with the latest latency issues and now this, I'm really not liking the latest patch.

- Load match, get to score screen.
- Alt Tab before the startup sequence
- Tab back in After the HUD has fully loaded.
- Enjoy your mouse cursor that won't confine to the window, wanders over onto monitor #2 and minimizes your game everytime you click a button.
- Restart client, there is NO OTHER WAY to get rid of the mouse cursor, it persists through multiple drops.

Don't think I managed to get it to replicate when I had a single monitor. Only since adding a second and / or running team speak did it happen consistently.
The solution though is to not let your mouse cursor leave the screen once you have pressed launch. Alt tabbing, checking other windows etc has a good chance of having this happen. It has never happened if I remember not to lose focus until in Mechbay.
Hopefully gets fixed at some point though as having the second monitor for team speak / whatever is quite handy and you need to be able to shift tabs / windows occasionally before or during matches.

This is a known issue. Just exit the game client completely, and restart from scratch. That should fix it.

I have neither and I still get this occasionally.

Do you mean like this one?
Or does it not show you a spectator view?

I like it. I'd say post to the patch notes but I actually have had the best luck with submitting it to the support link.
And I'll back this up. When I tab out of the game during a load (short attention span), I often see this bug.
But I have single monitor so it isn't a huge issue. I get no errant clicks.... just a mouse cursor in my face.

Escape hasn't worked for me so far; tried escape, editing the screen resolution while in game and alt/tabbing to no avail. If it's due to the Alt/Tab im extremely guilty of this but still annoying.

Which version of Windows are you using? That option doesn't appear for me.

That could be my issue; it does seem to affect people with dual monitors specifically. Ill give that a shot.
