The following is a list of my suggestions. I'll post new ones as I think of them. As always you thoughts, coments,or recrimnations are always welcome.

I would like to see some new maps with Low or High gravity. Not every world that humans colonize in the battletch universe has the same gravity as good old Terra. I think it would another level of immersion to the game. It will even change the playstyles depending on the world. On low grav worlds mechs would move faster and jump higher and the inverse would be true on high grav worlds.

Solaris VII maps!!! The games world has been a part of the Battletech universe for a long time. This would allow for a Free-for-All game mode that Im sure many players would enjoy. I envision a manditory C-bill buy in to create a winners purse for the top three players. Frist place would get 60%, second 30%, and third gets 10%. Maybe even a wager system to increase the profits for the winners and/or to let other players bet on their favorite mechwarriors.

HOT DROPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the offical teaser trailer (link below) it shows an Atlas making a Hot Drop.

http://mwomercs.com/...deo/OkWhrahs3AQ

The Hot Drop is the Battletech equivalent to an amphibious landing, think the Normandy landing from WWII but from space. I think it would be awesome if when you get the community warfare going that, for the frist battle, the attacking team has to make a Hot Drop. If the attacking team loses that match they must continue making Hot Drops untill they establish a "beachhead". It would also make for an interesting game mode. The way I envision it working is the defenders start from a centalize location and the attackers have a choice of a number of set locations to make their drop. The Hot Drops do come with some drawbacks for both sides. The attackers have NO cover until they make contact with the ground. The defenders would be unsure which direction the attack is coming from. They would have to either scout all of the locations until they find the attackers, or try to react the attack from a "random" direction.

I would like to see an underwater map. Lasers would have ranges cut in half. Ballistics although technically wouldn't work underwater could have their RoF cut in half. Missles would be replaced with torpedoes. Also since the whole mech is submerged every heat sinks would get the submerged bonus both single and double heat sinks.

Thin or no atmosphere maps. The Battletch universe has many small moons and planets that are completly uninhabitable. But have rare minerals or resources that make it worth fighting for control over them. The Earth's moon has daytime temps that can rise to 107 degrees C. Nighttime temps can drop to -153 degrees C. So the day map would be very hot but the night version of the same map would be quite cold.

I would like an option to have my fully mastered mech to earn extra GXP, instead of collecting xp that I will never use and may not be able to afford to convert. I not asking for a 100% conversion of earned xp but an extra 5% or 10% would be nice.

An option to rename owned mechs would be nice.

An option to move owned mech around in the mech bays would be great.

This is more of a request than a suggestion. I would love to have the music featured in the trailers (links below) used in the game.

http://mwomercs.com/...deo/CyEglSoahw4 I love this song by the way it just so full of crunchy rifts and a driveing beats it almost brings tears to my eyes.

http://mwomercs.com/...deo/RC-kITaLdBM I don't think this is the same song but it might be.

Q: In the offical trailer you show an Atlas making a "hot drop". Are there any plans for a game mode where one side defends and the other side makes a hot drop? Maybe for when a unit makes it's frist drop on a contested planet when community warfare is implmented?
A: Yes, we are exploring asymmetrical gameplay modes.

Q: Any plans for a Solaris VII map or maps? It will let you guys make a Free-For-ALL game mode. Pilots could even place wagers on the outcome or even a manditory buy in to create the winners purse.
A: Long term (year or more out ) yes.

If you think the devs don't read our posts think again they do.

So I was thinking since the maps now have a stated gravity that value should affect movement. Assumeing that those values are not just some fluff filler to round out the map descriptions, they should affect movement.

On higher than 1G worlds;
Mechs should have a lower top speed and acceleration.
Maximun jump height would be reduced.
The speed of falling and damage from the fall would increase.
Stopping distance would be shortened.

Conversely on lower G worlds;
The top speed and acceleration would be greater.
Jump height would increase.
Falling speed and damage reduced.
Stopping distance would be increased.

For example...

Caustic Valley has a gravity of 1.2G. So mechs would be 20% slower, jump 20% shorter, take 20% more damage from a fall, fall 20% faster, and stop 20% sooner.

Forest Colony has a gravity of 0.8G So mechs would be 20% faster, jump 20% higher, take 20% less damage from a fall, fall 20% slower, and would need 20% more distance to stop.

I'm not sure if this is feasible for the Devs to program but I think it would be an great addtion to the game.

Here is a link to the poll I created on the subject.(link below)
