Just wanted to let you all know, the 'disconnect to avoid a death' bug has been fixed, and will be included in tomorrow's patch :)

Thank god, tired of last second disconnects bugging out the match. Massive waste of time.

I thought this already was fixed in the 15th patch. If not then hooray!

I'd also say it's of equal importance to fix the "disconnect to at least deny the other person a kill" flaw that cropped up. Seriously disappointing gameplay that

Then I guess it wasn't and they are patching it tomorrow. I would take a logical guess at that.

Could have not proofread it.
Could have thought to have been working and wasn't really, which would then mean the production of this thread.
Could be they just missed it.

Is there a time limit? So people who legitimately crash at the beginning of the match aren't affected? Maybe like a 30 seconds-1 minute from disconnect the death counts?

Garth,

Does this also fix the bug where your own death sometimes does not register when someone on the enemy team disconnects before you die? Or is that a separate issue?
