I'm working on a Mauler mech model and I'm curious what kind of poly count budget the mechs in the game use? I am sure there is some variance from mech to mech. So does anyone know what the high/low end is on the poly counts for the mech models?

I think the models in game are about 45,000 from what I can remember, not 100% sure though.

Tri count varies depending on the battlemech in mwo.
Tri Count:
Atlas - 46,808
Stalker - 11,781
Awesome - 16,543
Cataphract - 18,396
Catapult - 21,864
Dragon - 17,521
Centurion - 17,218
Hunchback - 15,945
Cicada - 18,341
Raven - 15,954
Jenner - 16,716
Commando - 18,007
Hope this helps you out. Source - models extracted from game files, final count could be higher/lower.

Wow, looks like most of the models are somewhere around 17k, but the Atlas is almost thrice that!
