I notice that I sometimes get texturing issues now with the latest patch in Frozen City. Large sections of map will just be a solid color instead of textured. I only have one screenshot at the moment:

I also did notice during one conquest round that the out-of-bounds area around Theta did not seem to be out of bounds anymore, but I haven't had a chance to investigate any further yet.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this is the night map.

I've been seeing this issue on both frozen city maps for about 3 weeks now. Its not always there maybe 50/50. I believe it has been mentioned here in the recent past and I believe PGI is working on it.

i just experienced this bug yesterday once in frozen city, not only was the dropship untextured but also every piece of snow around the tunnel, you can tell those are prop models because of how the lightmaps affect them, but still something is making them glitch out

All I know is I never saw it until this new patch.

Two more examples from my last match:

Okay, I had a chance to verify where the boundary actually was around Theta, and it's nowhere near where it should be, according to the minimap. My mech is actually sitting on the line, as it stands now...

Same problem here, only since this patch:

- buildings, and at times also background textures, all uniform grey, same as above
- twice so far no textures at all on mechs, all grey

I had the same problem at first. Try going into options and turn V-sync on under the video options, worked for me

My vsync is always on. No need having my graphics chip trying to draw faster then my LCD can display things. :(

I did discover the texture glitch is not just the night version of the map. The snowing version does it too, it's just a lot harder to see when you're running around with thermal vision on:

I've been having this issue, first time I've noticed it was after last (Jan 23) patch.

I've got this in about a third of the frozen night rounds and since weeks. You kind of get used to it but it looks ugly.

Same here, seems like 100% every time when I hit that map.

I was having same issue, two things fixed it for me (so far).

Turned V-sync back on as suggested above. V-sync is now turned off by default since last patch, so if you had it on before it will now be turned off, check it if you haven't looked recently. This may not actually resolve issue, however I did it at the same time as my second step so can't confirm if either or both are required.

Secondly, the old standby of clearing your shader cache. Look under your game install folder, find the Shaders folder and delete the "Cache" folder.

XX\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\USER\Shaders

The next time you load into a map, you will see placeholder textures as you load which will get replaced by the correct ones as the game recreates the shader cache.

After doing this, my game went back to normal.

I've had this error pretty much every time(~85% of the time) I've played Frozen City since Closed Beta. It has never gone away. It happens in Frozen City Night, too. The buildings are only half textured, or not textured at all, and the mountain with the tunnel isn't ever textured, it's always a giant grey featureless block.

I have a Radeon HD Sapphire 7970 card, and a Vishera FX-8350 processor.

It happened when I had a Quad Core Black Ice 965t processor, as well (I upgraded just before Christmas)

I'm having this error all round the game!
In cockpit I haven't several texture (joistic, start button and screen bachground), and during play most of the texture are missing.
Playing is really a pain...
Plus light effect seams to bi missing, rivet city is almost a bunch of spot light in a dark environment, impossible to play.

Edit.
The effect appear a litter lesser if I turn on night vision: some texture still be missing but light environment work a little better.
