Just played a match where my game seemed to freeze, but I could still move my mech around and fire weapons (I could still hear).

Just happened again, except the game completely crashed after a few seconds of the frozen screen (could still move). Seems like this new patch is quite a bit less stable than the last one.

This is happening to me too... had it happen about 6 times in the last hour.
It's the server not updating your client... I basically cant play as a result now. I would say their server is having issues, but reports arent wide spread yet.
Where in the world are you? ( Toronto for me ).

Had this a couple of times. Alt+Tab twice fixed it for me.

I've gotten this twice, living in Manitoba.

Happened to me two more times again this morning... i've played 3 times.
Game is effectively ruined for me now, when the majority of my matches end in DC's. I was rock solid until Friday.

This has fixed it for me multiple times. I, at first, thought it was the "FPS Bug" but alt+tab out and back and it recovered. I think the difference here is that you can still periodically hear sound effects. That's a hint that the alt+tab out and back will usually recover it.
