With the addition of the "Targeted" warning, I would like the option to disable auto-targeting. If I have the drop on an enemy and can take time to line up a shot, I don't want him being tipped off by an automated target acquisition.
That or do away with auto-targeting altogether.

I agree with this. I guess if they never fix this, you could just snipe and then take the reticule off the target until your cooldown is done and then snipe again (and repeat). Kinda makes sniping tedious though.

get rid of target warning. When I scout out a group of enemy mechs I need to target them all in order to see their load out, which one is damaged for an easy kill, or can be ignored. By telling every one I target I am their I can't do this. It damages tactical play.
Not to mention that this is a perfect example of dumbing down a game.

I think a good compromise would be a tone when you've been targeted, rather than a vocalization. Just a suttle "boop" or something, same as when targets are detected. We don't hear "Enemy Mechs in targeting range!" 8 times at the beginning of every map, just the little "eennt!" sound.
