My idea is another thing like Clan Invasion but with a large line of Mechs inspired by 1939-1945 {Godwin's Law} Germany Technology, like big, massive, slow, lumbering Mechs, and how the Clan Mechs are with the blue HUD instead of that a Red HUD or something. My idea for their main weaknesses is their lack of speed and maybe the inability to have a ECM on any of the Mechs

I guess you didn't know OP, but the BattleTech universe has existed for 30 years now, and it's not really done to just plop stuff in "because it would be cool".

PGI has declared MWO to be "a BattleTech game"; that means they must at least give lip service to the 30 years of lore that BattleTech has.

When I was at work today I was thinking about ideas for Mechs for it, Like to really get a idea of how the German Engineering was at the later parts of the war would be like a Medium Mech loaded up with such armor and heavy armaments its border line heavy, like twin AC/20's a Large Laser and a LRM 20 kind of thing like just going stupid with it, but that would come across with some balance issues and such.

The people at FASA allready did that. It resulted in the Fafnir, Eisensturm Omni fighter and Mjolnir-class cruiser.

They will not add anything that isnt from Sarna. There will never be any new mechs (if they stick to the time line) and if they fast forward, then there will be LOTS of other mech designs to pull from. We will never see anything lke what you're describing OP. Sorry to burst your bubble.

A red HUD?

Hmmm...

Any lore guys out there know if there's any 'Mechs the Word of Blake faction had specifically? Granted I know they still used IS technology bases, but giving WoB 'Mechs red HUDs might be a fun little trinket.

The Celestial Series of Omni'Mechs is WoB-exclusive. And as they only work with enhanced imaging it would probably make sense to alter the color of their HUD.

Although I agree with remaining faithful to the canon in most regards, I did ask specifically in one of the ATDs if PGi might consider adding some of their own mechs to the canon down the road and they said it was definitely something they'd be interested in doing. Personally, as long as it's handled respectfully, I have no problem with that. In fact, I'd personally like to see what Alex could so without the constraints of what's gone before. Frankly, it's no different than what FASA was doing by releasing new technical readouts.

However, adding a whole new faction or historical dynamic to the game would be a bad move. At that point, you're retconning story.

As others have said, BT universe, won`t fly...

HOWEVER:

We are not done with all the factions.

Many years after the Clan Invasion, the Jihad starts, and "The Word of Blake" becomes a household name.

The Blakists also bring some interesting things to the table.

Like, maybe, a red HUD :D

*Edit: ARgh, ninja`D :D
