The Premium Time Rewards activates soon as you recieve it? Mine did.. Kinda Sux, didn't really use it.

Yes, your premium time activates as soon as you redeem it. This is the case any time you win premium time in a challenge.

Yup. PGI is trying to get away from the banked time as that was only ever put in as a temporary stop-gap measure for a SNAFU with the founders.

Which is pretty convenient for a 3-day series, so your first couple of days at least you can use on days 2 & 3.

I didn't get to USE any of the premium time I won from the first day because I had to work the next few days, but I did the challenge for the fun of it.

Don't expect banked premium time outside of pre-order packages anymore, though.

I still have a bit of active premium time so technically any free premium time I get, I "use", even if I don't play for a while.
