Greetings, I had this issue a few times before:
I copy a text from a thread into another. It should look like this:


But instead I get this:


The biggest issue is, even if I edit it, it won't change o.o If deleted the tags manually and saved. Nothing changed. I deleted the whole thing and nothing changed :/

Paste your text into notepad.exe first, copy it from there into your browser.

The problem is, most forums inherit formatting, while on MWO most of that formatting is disabled (it still gets copied over anyways). What you want to do is paste non-formatted text which is what you get in a simple editor like Notepad.

Hey Tarogato,
thanks for your replie. That is definitly a workaround, which I will use the next time ^^
Although it would be great if this could be fixed in the future, because it is quite annoying.
I'm translating some news from the international board to the german, this takes 1-2 hours sometimes, you can guess how happy I am when I have to see, that all my work got messed up and I have to manually copie the text elsewhere and correct it^^

Especially the formatting of tables is almost evertime messed up... Now I don't copy such things, I make a screenshot of them and past them in my translation... ^^
