Twice today was on a team with same KDK-4 armed with 2 X LPL and 2 Gauss.

He did 820 dmg/2 kils in one match and 1100 dmg/3 kills in the other.

Was this unusual for the above build considering the slow recycle times with hulking face time? In general, would this build do well over time?

2xGauss = 30 PinPoint damage
2xLPLas = 26 (PP if accurate)

I personally chose PPC, more hot, but that is preference i suppose. I think its main point is the 2x gauss. Consider that you put the gauss and LPLas on one side, you only expose half of your body.

Not really unusual.

If you can land those gauss, then great.

find me an arm or leg with dual gauss and dual lpl and u have just about halved a mech. most players drop lots of armor off legs to run more up top, and most arms carry weapons, so chopping one drops damage potential quite a bit. find me an exposed back...and i have a kill.

if u can aim, then this is a good build for u. most players get tagged with dual gauss back off since they cant track the projectile, reducing the fire your team takes from that player for a few seconds.
