I have noticed I can fire the Gauss at like half a charge, which is fine for more of a snapshot, but does it do full DMG? Or do I have to get the full green bar the get the max 15 DMG?
Thanks bros keep on fighting!!

A quick tip about Gauss Rifle. Do you notice the little dots around your reticle? Each of those represent the readiness of your weapon groups. If you assign your Gauss Rifle to weapon groups 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (leaving 1 for other weapons for example), you'll notice the dots turning green when it is ready to fire (charged). If you don't fire (release the button), the charge will dissipate and you'll have to charge again.

Also, be sure to keep an eye on the wind speed. It can really throw the projectile off course.

this is scientifically correct.
you also have to take planet rotation speed, humidity and small obstacles like flies and other insects into account.
gauss is not for the weak.

Don't forget to account for the Coriolis effect and relative gravity of the planet.

Don't forget to adjust for ambient temp, barrel temp and elevation.
Fire AT LEAST 5 shot groups (10 is better) and make sure you log all your DOPE.
Also, do not rely on BDC reticles, learn to use Milrads.
Wait, what are we talking about again?

Just want to inform you that once it goes from yellow to green you can fire at any time, the green just shows its ready to fire, once that bar maxes out it dissipates its fire and has to be charged again. Its best to learn how to fire right as soon as it goes from yellow to green to get the fastest refire times out of your gauss.
