I played the beta on AOL years ago, we could all gather in a room and chat before we dropped into battle. People helped with newbies in practicing controls, weapons and strategies for battle. I played for house Liao thru the Gamestorm takeover and thats when they charged only $10 a month. i loved the ability to get to meet other players and form those friendships for our house. How do I find some one to show me the ropes so to speak in this new version. how do I get hooked into a group for practice and such?

There are always plenty of people on. Just hop into the Looking for Group channel or better yet, just find a dropship channel with less than 8 and introduce yourself. People are really friendly and its a great way to meet players and maybe find a Merc Corps to join. If you see me on there, please stop in and say hello, I'll help you find a group if mine is full.
