How many more cookies can i fit into a normal mech cockpit compared to a small mech cockpit? Is the increase in room and decrease in weight worth running out of cookies mid battle?

You can fit more clan cookies in, but you have to bake them at a higher temperature.

I heard a lot of comments about clan cookies beeing a straight upgrade on conventional cookies and yes, i certainly can fit more cookies into my mech if i switch to clan-tech chocolate flakes... but it's my opinion that clan cookies taste a bit stale and are just not as fun as conventional cookies. I'm guessing it's because of the higher density of clan cookies, which might be OK for the typical clan warrior and his spartanic tastes. But i prefer soft and chewy over german bread s...
