what it means is dont try to put in a random code in hopes that it might unlock something for you lol. What this probably is tho, is a redeem code section for those that may be members on sites like IGN who have a Prime account and will receive Beta keys through IGN. But keep your eyes on you email accounts just in case guys and gals.

It means they are probably talking with PCGames or something and will probably slap a few beta access keys into one publication or another, that or some form of contest.

PGI is a Canadian company, and as far as I'm aware, all the Employees are in Canada. So our Memorial Day doesn't mean a day off for them.

I have it, they added the redeem code as a clever trap to ban over zealous forum posters, who are crying (like me) over their lack of invitation to the game. They will entrap many and ban them unto launch.

But I am onto their scheme and I will not be taken in.

I shall resist putting random codes into the box, trying to get my way into the closed beta.

I would venture a guess that a Redeem code function would indeed be for giveaways, cross promotion with vendors, gifting, contests , etc etc.
