Was just playing 8 mans and in 7 games we played the same two teams 6 of those games. Where is everyone. Maybe its that no one wants to keep running into ECM and or PPC heavy teams because a assure you that 6 of the 7 games me and my unit played tonight were just that either a pure ECM team that just marched across the board under ECM cover or mostly PPC ranged build teams that stood off and killed everything from range. This seems to be the only two tactics being used and its extremely boring. (my opinion)

Your ladder score makes you search out the closest match, so you have to play the same dudes over and over now, if there aren't enough variance around.

Honestly if Elo is doing it's job you won't have to go to 8 man games to find an appropriate challenge. Plus we have all that unequal team balance in 4 mans that the 8mans love!

i thik its funny that they went through such lengths to make a comment about matchmakign being slow not becvause of player pool.

also, most of us probably don't play 8 mans... I dont want to join a clan but I like to play with friends... so we 4 man, as i dont have 7 other friends who play MWO. (or pug by myself.) Lots of people like me.

your playing 8 mans, remember you only play against OTHER 8 mans.. so probably your going to play against the same 8 man groups because there are very few, and they are around your level.

there are tons of 4 mans and solo players.
