What's that? I don't care if the chances of a spider actually achieving everything it took to make the match what it was were needle in a haystack... I now know that it is do-able and very cleverly so.. that little tricky dog, bet they can't wait for the canyon map.

With a ping of 286 I can see this happening with a spider. Especially if you have opponents that do not know they need to lead their targets a bit.

Highest damage I ever had from that same spider with 3 mlas, 650.

Most games though were around 120, it takes a very special match to get that high in one round in a spider.

Probably on Caustic/Alpine where the opponents are unaware there's a bug pecking at them from that side hill while they're engaging the main force.

He's in a 5D, so it's the best variant for damage dealing and avoidance. I've scored over five hundred in mine when I used to play it but doing over eight hundred is impressive! Nice work.

Most damage I've ever done in a spider is 500ish with 2xMPL, but then I carry tag 90% of the time and I'm usually camping out at long range watching LRMs falling on hapless DDCs

...or getting murderated by 3L's - they usefulness of a Spider is inversely proportional to the number of compentent 3L pilots on the other team.

the size of a mech has nothing to do with the ability of the pilot. there is a screenshot somewhere in the forums of me do almost 1000 dmg in a light mech and yes it was a 3L but only 2 tons of ammo do the math over half of that dmg was done with my twin med lasers

Granted the Spider probable got an Ammo Explosion on hit, BUT it's still really impressive in my book, considering in organized groups only the Assaults and Rocket Boxes get 800 IF they do really well
