I am broke and I am not going to spend anymore C-bills on this frame. I have max FF armor, endo and the stock engine with 10 double heatsinks.

Do I run

• 2 medium pulse + SRM6
  
• 1 medium pulse + 1 medium + 2 SRM 4
  
• 2 medium + 2 SRM 4 with 2 tons ammo
  
• NARC, TAG, or flamer support build

With the what i think as the worst of the commandos?

You could go for SSRMs instead of the SRMs, but well... with this build you can do dish out tons of damage to Slower targets. Other lights? well, get them back to your team.

You coudl switch the Med Pulse to Mediums and pack some more SRM Ammo, depends on your playstyle.

So getting an XL195 out of thin air seems unreasonable

If you want to master commandos buy XL195. It is THE best engine for COM-2D. COM-2D is the best Commando, COM-1D has no chance in hell against ECM+3 SSRM.

The choice is 1 Medium laser + 200 SSRM or TAG+ 200 SSRM when playing witch a team.

For PUGging 300 SSRM ammo is better, drop the ML (additional 100 SSRM ammo = 250 damage)

There isn't enough room for ENDO+FERRO+XL. Sorry.


PS. COM-1D is the weakest variant. It has an useless arm. I have COM-2D, COM-3A and COM-1B mastered, done that before ECM. Now, I would not want to go past basic skills on COM-3A and COM-1B.
