I recently purchased this mouse http://steelseries.c...#specifications In hopes of using the top 4 buttons so I could have all 6 weapon groupings at my finger tips.

Unfortunately, when I attempted to set those buttons up in my Options tab, nothing happens. It Only recognizes the standard mouse and forward/Back page on buttons thumb side, but not the buttons I was really hoping to use.

I have tried multiple reassignments of those buttons through the provided software that came with the mouse, but no matter what I dub the buttons, when I click them to assign in the options tab nothing happens.

Any suggestions/answers would be greatly appreciated.

Brian

I suggest asking support, they know more than anyone on the forums (i.e if your mouse is supported by the game)

Not all games can properly recognize all the mouse buttons. Your best bet is to go into the mouse software and remap those buttons to a key, and then assign that key into the game's options.

As stated above, I tried that. Doesnt matter what keys I assign the buttons to. I will try emailing support in the morning I guess.

Maybe try assigning the keys in MWO with the keyboard, but using the corresponding keys on the mouse in-game?

configure your mouse's extra buttons with macro software (possibly) included with mouse, and set extra buttons to key 3-4-5-6 ? worked with my cyber mmo7 mouse =)
