Go to Twitch.tv and look up MWO videos. I found one of a guy sync-dropping and ending up on opposite teams of his teamspeak buddy, so the guy was being fed enemy intel to help him climb the ladder. He was also using a Raven and running around tagging people because he thought assists help him climb faster. Since I'm not a douche, I guess I won't do well in this tourny. (become a douche?)

Unless they fix whatever is causing this chassis to take upwards of 4x or more of the amount of damage it should, I'm willing to bet that the Raven 3L outclasses every single other mech in this tournament. Even when you match directly up against mechs in the other weight classes.

Good luck this weekend (unless you are piloting a 3L, then you just need to be somewhat present).

Since when do Ravens take 4x damage than it should?

For me it's always been 10x. Was there an improvement in the netcode I'm not aware of?

So is it pointless to play this weekend with the tourney and all the farming going on? A few people have said its all cheeze builds, worse than normal anyhow.

I am not playing till this nonsense is overwith, every single drop is populated by cheese and Disconnecters, glad i decided that premium time would be C-bill overkill, else i would have had to join the re-imbursement QQue.

Just dropped a half dozen to cap defend with my spider. End of match didn't see any less than 3, 3Ls over 6 matches. 1 com 2d, and my spider.

Brian, tell me again how the 3L isn't going to win the overall award? Because I don't think you actually play this game at this point.

sure, the Raven 3L might get you a good light mech rank, but you gotta play the 3 other classes too

Aaaaand if you don't rank up with the 3L you don't win overall - hence the 3L being mandatory because no other light can compete with the infinite armor 3L.
