Just a quick question:
Do normal PPCs (not ERs) disturb ECM equipped mechs when shot under 90m?
I guess so, after all theyre still doing damage aswell (linear dropoff).
If yes it may be time to test streaks on my PPC Stalker.
I didnt use them before because ECM lights would just destroy you, but with the PPCs
anti-ecm ability...

Yes, they don't do much damage but it still disrupts ecm.
So hit that raven face hugging you with a PPC and get that streak lock.

Someone so needs to photoshop a raven and an alien face hugger and make some horrible mutant. Alas, I do not have the talent. Come on community! Give me my raven face hugger!

I want to note that Smurfy models PPC damage under 90m as scaling linearly with range.
That is to say,
at 0m, a PPC deals 0 damage
at 45m, a PPC deals 5 damage
at 90m a PPC deals 10 damage
I've never seen any attempt to describe damage curves below min/above max range except for the ones in smurfy's damage graphs.

What I want to know is if I shoot an ECM equipped mech with two PPCs that are grouped, does it disable it for 10 second?

No it does not. The maximum time it can be disabled per ppc hit is 5 seconds (or 4, I forget the original amount). If their timer is going, let's say to 3 seconds, and it'***** with another ppc, it gets reset to 5.

No. But if you successively hit it once every 4 seconds, you disable it for 4*N seconds, where N is the number of successful consecutive hits.
