yes on both accounts. dying comes with the territory anyway. All I know is I have 1200 damage worth of munitions on board, and I'm going to try my best to spend them all before I drop, as do we all.

Somehow pugstomping and getting cheese stomped is the only two match types... oh, there is the occasional cap rush with no fire fights or the even rarere sweet almost tie game of epic battles... but regarding that as any kind of standard is completely unrealistic after the unwashed masses got into gaming and nerds became "cool".
If only we could get a segregated community...
I want to be in an elitist sphere of perfection, not waddling around in the mud with the console peasantry and other frat-boy sub-species...

this only happens because the game is very imbalanced. and it's not so much a matter of "nerf x", but a matter of "make all this other neat stuff viable"
devs are aware of this issue, more content is in the pipe, and the creators of all people do not want to see their creations go to waste, so have faith friend that fixes are coming. until they say they're satisfied enough with the game to call it "officially released", do not pass negative judgement hastily.
I do believe however, that dual gauss is my favorite by far because of its elegant simplicity and specialized purpose, only adding to its innate lethality. It makes none of the aggressive bark of an autocannon, the whssh of dread from missiles, or the crackling laughter of ppcs. just a muted whiz followed by a loud pop, and maybe the sound of fresh bricks being laid.

I find the gauss sounds like a sneeze than a high powered railgun. This is what it should sound like:

Yeah, i should add that my post mostly reflect my thoughts on this weekend, game became completely unplayable as soon as it hit US primetime friday, so my posts are flavoured sour from the desperation of not being able to log in and enjoy MWO for a full weekend with nothing else planned to spend my time on... i regressed into a forum troll, many apologies.
that being said, private matches will fix everything for me since i can choose to only drop with competent people against competent people, no more goons and cheese, oh how i long for this feature...
