You didn't read. That's why i am a sad panda, i don't expect pve. Skill? Who cares about skill? I just want to have fun, f&$k skill. People are just saying it would be fun to have pve, that is all. Sorry that people talking about what they want offends you so much.

Pve burns itself out faster in mmo type games.

Mass Effect 3 has pve multiplayer that has quite the following. Horde mode from Gears of War is another great example of how to implement this function. This could give new players a chance to hone their skills a bit before entering the kill fest.

With that answer from the devs, expect PVE to come in the form of another game.

If MWO keeps trucking on and gets more customers etc etc, then its probably quite possible that another MW will be made by PGI, or at least, contract another company that has experience doing it & by extention will have access to the assets PGI has created. (the mechs etc)

I don't see a PC MW5 or reboot of the single-player genre for MW on PC for at least another year or 2.

PVE is horrible.
Even at it's most challenging it's too easily beaten.

It takes an incredibly special game to do PvE well enough to make the experience anything other than either A : a boring faceroll. or B: a repetitive, faceroll that is only challenging via one shots and imba abilities given to lolnpcs.
