the Atlas has it, really not sure what its for, but when its finally working will the Atlas pilot be able to call in Artillery, mobile repair bays, or even drop ships, etc;

That's possible. I'm not sure of the most recent chatter, but it would be reasonable to require a CC to use specific consumables such as air strikes (which are being released in some capacity next month).

Until then don't use it. It's dead weight and has no current use.
