First of all, I think it is a good idea hosting tournaments like you are doing this weekend. Having said that, the tournament seems to be favoring those who will end up play 300+ games over 3 days. I don't have time for that. My suggestion is to offer different competitive brackets based on the size mech as well as the number of games played. For instance, one bracket would be unlimited play, much as it is now. Other brackets might be the best of 50 games or 25 games. Furthermore, once you complete a bracket, you can start over with the same mech or a mech of a different size. Just my thoughts, KC

Yes as has been said many times on the forums this type of tournament is heavily weighted towards who plays the most - not the best players really. It needs to weigh other factors more heavily in the calculation of the leaderboard than time/games played.
That being said some (not all) of the players in the top of the leaderboards are perhaps some of the best players and are good because they play a lot!!
