My favourite would have to be the Stormcrow (Ryoken), alt a (from memory) ultra ac/20.. fun fun.

Other than that, Linebacker, Gladiator are great too.

As a House Steiner diehard fan, I can only hope I gain one through salvage! ...if not the fifth one I bring down from my modified Atlas, surely I will be permitted to keep the sixth!

Always been the Timberwolf. Mechcommander's Mad Cat solidified it's image as the must-have mech for me.

indeed, (The Timberwolf is the icon of "Clan" battletech, kinda), on MW2's game cover,

for me, MW2 was my first sim, and "your" :) speech at the end of the Refusal War on Sudeten's moon, in "your" Summoner, made me fall in love with that mech all those years ago (almost 20 !), and then the Summoner got cemented in my mind as a "power" mech from MW3's opening video

Without a doubt, the Blood Kite. 3 ER Large Lasers, 3 LRM-15, 3 SRM-4. 85 tons and jump capable, 91% armour and a standard engine. Alternating fire between the lasers and LRMs (the SRMs aren't really necessary) and this thing can stay mobile without building up heat, popping targets at maximum range. And it just looks mean!

I'm sorry but LRMs + ER LL are a ****** combination. If you can't fire all weapons for an optimized range, your mech is badly designed.

My heart is a Jade Falcon since MW2 too. This speech won me:

"We are Jade Falcon, great among the Clans. We are warriors who fight with the strength of the falcon''s claw, and ascend to the heavens on the wings of the same. We remember with the clarity of falcon sight the words of Kerensky. Through the smoke of time he speaks to us, his chosen, and urges us onward with the promise of Eden. We will retake what is ours by right, that shining jewel, Terra. Not the vastness of space, nor the wolf's obstinate howl will stay us from our righteous goal.

We are crusaders and will trample all who stand in our way."

Selya Sibkin !

I was also referring to this speech too (Also where I fell in love with the Summoner :)

This bloody battle has come to an end
Our Fallen Comrades litter the wastes of these barren worlds
We were trapped in the Wolf's jaw, he in our Claws
We bleed from our wounds but we did not die !
And now, the warden wolf, broken and limping
Foresaking History
All that is honorable and bright has run like a coward into the den of a common foe
We Will return, and with you in the Trek,
We are back on the True Road
The Road to Terra.........."
