There are many players, myself included who prefer to play in four man "lances". I would like to see a tournament for four man "lances". Of course, there would have to be some mechanism to discourage sync-drops and to ensure that each "lance" only gets credit when they drop with the same four player who signed up together.

They already said this tourney was a test of the leaderboard system and will have group tournies and elimination ones later on.

Pretty useless since there is no 4vs4 mode and even 8vs8 (groups) you can not set up against your enemy at wish (they realy need to implement a lobby for that)

Absolutely not. If they're going to do a group play tournament it should be for 8 mans.

most likely will be team tournaments soon... getting the matrix for single elo, then 4 man team elo, then 8 man team elo to get the matchmaking more accurate.
